Retreat Dates: September 11 - 18, 2027

Find Inner Peace and Balance

The Journey Ahead

Throughout the week, guests will experience a thoughtfully curated blend of yoga, wellness, cultural immersion, adventure, relaxation, and meaningful connection in one of the world’s most extraordinary destinations. From open-air yoga and sacred temple visits to jungle excursions, spa experiences, breathtaking landscapes, and beautifully prepared meals, every detail has been intentionally designed to balance exploration with deep rest.

Reservations officially open June 15, 2026. Guests reserving during the Early Booking period through August 1, 2026, will receive preferred introductory pricing along with an additional complimentary spa service at our Retreat Home.

The retreat begins with scheduled airport transfers and Welcome Dinner festivities on September 11 and concludes following breakfast and departure transfers on September 18. Guests are welcome to arrive early or extend their time in Bali before or after the retreat experience.

Traveling TO THE RETREAT HOME

For most participants, you will fly into Ngurah Rai International Airport, also commonly called Denpasar Airport or DPS. The airport is about 1.5 hours from our retreat home.

There will be 3 group transfers on arrival day. More details will be known once travel arrangements have been shared with the tour organizers. Please note: there are no planned activities on arrival day. Dinner will be held at our Retreat Home, starting at about 6:00 pm.

Should a planned transfer not work for your arrival, the cost is about $35-40 to take a private taxi from the airport to Ubud/our Retreat Home.

Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is required for participation in Discover Bali and should include coverage for trip interruption, travel delays, medical expenses, emergency evacuation, and unforeseen circumstances that may impact your travel plans.

We strongly recommend purchasing insurance shortly after booking your retreat reservation.

While we hope every journey unfolds seamlessly, international travel can occasionally involve unexpected changes. Comprehensive travel insurance helps protect both your investment and your overall travel experience, offering added peace of mind throughout your time in Bali.

Personalized travel insurance guidance and recommended partner resources will be reviewed during the retreat planning process.

All guests will be required to provide proof of valid travel insurance coverage no later than April 1, 2027. We also recommend traveling with a copy of your policy information and emergency contact details throughout the retreat.

To help simplify the planning process, we’ve partnered with two trusted travel insurance providers that offer a variety of coverage options for international travel. While guests are welcome to purchase insurance through any provider that meets the retreat requirements, many travelers appreciate the convenience of comparing plans through our preferred partners:

Trawick International
A popular choice for international travelers, offering a variety of plans with options for trip cancellation, medical coverage, and emergency travel protection. Click here to explore Trawick options

Allianz Travel Insurance
One of the world’s most recognized travel insurance providers, offering comprehensive coverage options and a wide range of plan choices for domestic and international travel.  Click here to explore Allianz options

We encourage all guests to review policy details carefully and select the coverage that best fits their individual travel needs.

ARRIVING EARLY OR EXTENDING YOUR STAY

Ubud is widely considered the cultural and spiritual heart of Bali, known for its lush jungle landscapes, temples, markets, yoga culture, rice terraces, and slower pace of life. Guests wishing to extend their experience before or after the retreat may enjoy staying in central Ubud where restaurants, shopping, spas, and cultural sites are easily accessible on foot.

We recommend the following boutique properties for guests interested in arriving early or extending their time in Bali.

Special pricing for Discover Bali guests will be available through our retreat partnership once travel plans have been confirmed.

Booking And Payment Schedule

Participation in Discover Bali is limited to just 12 guests in order to preserve the intimate, personalized nature of the retreat experience. Accommodations are reserved on a first deposit received, first room selection basis.

Reservations officially open June 15, 2026. Guests reserving during the Early Booking period through August 1, 2026, will receive a $250 savings along with an additional complimentary spa service at our Retreat Home.

A non-refundable deposit of $750 is required to reserve your space. Remaining balances will be divided into three equal payments due on October 15, 2026, December 31, 2026, and April 1, 2027.

Find Inner Peace and Balance

Health and Wellness

Bali’s tropical climate, slower rhythm, and wellness-focused culture create a beautiful environment for rest, movement, and restoration. Guests are encouraged to honor their individual needs throughout the retreat, move at a comfortable pace, stay hydrated, and approach the experience with balance and self-awareness.

Transportation

Group transportation throughout the retreat has been thoughtfully arranged, including scheduled airport transfers and transportation for planned excursions. During free time, additional private drivers and transportation services are easily accessible for guests wishing to independently explore Ubud or nearby areas.

Arrival day transportation will include three scheduled group transfer options coordinated around guest travel plans, including transfers from both DPS Airport and central Ubud for guests arriving early. Final transfer timing details will be organized once guest travel arrangements have been confirmed.

Please note there are no planned activities on arrival day. Dinner will be held at our Retreat Home beginning at approximately 6:00 pm.

Should a scheduled transfer not align with your arrival timing, private transportation between DPS Airport and the Ubud area is widely available and typically ranges from approximately $35–$45 USD depending on traffic and time of day.

Dining In Bali

Meals throughout the retreat are designed to nourish both body and experience, blending fresh local ingredients with opportunities to explore Bali’s vibrant culinary culture. Vegetarian, vegan, and dietary preferences can generally be accommodated, though guests should remain mindful that traditional Balinese cuisine may occasionally include regional ingredients and preparation methods.

Cultural Awareness

Bali is deeply rooted in spirituality, ceremony, and community tradition. Guests are encouraged to approach the island with openness, respect, patience, and curiosity while honoring local customs, sacred spaces, and the gentle rhythm of daily life throughout the retreat experience.

Independent Exploration

While the retreat includes a thoughtfully designed schedule of group experiences, guests are also encouraged to enjoy moments of rest, personal reflection, spa time, or independent exploration throughout the week. Ubud and the surrounding areas offer beautiful opportunities for shopping, cafés, temples, rice terraces, and additional wellness experiences.

Safety and Travel Guidance

Bali is widely regarded as a welcoming and safe destination for travelers, particularly within established retreat and tourism areas. As with any international destination, guests are encouraged to travel mindfully, remain aware of their surroundings, safeguard valuables, and exercise good judgment throughout the journey.

Flexibility and Flow

As with all international travel experiences, occasional adjustments to timing, activities, transportation, or itinerary flow may occur due to weather, local ceremonies, seasonal conditions, or other circumstances outside of our control. Any changes are always made thoughtfully with the intention of supporting the best possible experience for the group while honoring the natural rhythm of Bali.
